- A pair of white canvas shoes
- Rhinestones
- Hotfix and non-hotfix rhinestone applicators
- Glue for rhinestones
- Screw back spikes
- Square prong studs large and small
- Fabric paint in a few colors
- Paintbrushes
- iron-on transfers for light-colored fabrics
- Rubbing alcohol
- Scissors
- Sandpaper
- Masking tape or duck tape
- Long shoelaces
