When I initially heard about trendy clothing delivery boxes a sometime ago, I was curious and had my doubts. Since I am a very avid shopper online, and I could not imagine how a random person could do better at choosing my outfits than I ever could.  Needless to say I was proven quite wrong by the stylists, though not right away.

I had some trial and error with my first few shipments but have figured out ways to getting outfits that I absolutely love. So you can avoid that trouble I put together an easy, unmistakable list of tips to make the most of your experience.

3 Tips To Getting Better Stitch Fix Outfits

Tip #1 Style Profile and Communication

Regardless of whither it’s your first fix or your 100th fix, you need to communicate with your stylist and update your style profile as often as needed, the more detail the better too. Since your stylist is not telepathic, you need to let them know when you didn’t like something and why, when you did like something and why. Let them know when you purchased it or why you didn’t purchase It, trust me it does make a difference. 

Tip #2 Style Shuffles and Pinterest Boards

Be sure to use the style shuffles located in your profile.  Style shuffles are kind of like tinder but for fashion. You can find them in your profile or on the dashboard and be sure to create a Pinterest style board to save outfit inspirations and things that you like and link it to your stitch fix profile this will help the stylist be able to have some more insight to your unique and authentic style.

Tip #3 Shop Your Look And Membership Options

Okay this is a little more after the fix so to speak but stitch fix does offer a direct buy option which is called shop your looks.  This feature lets you buy items that they recommend that match pieces you already have from previous shipment.  You can order items individually on the site, and you don’t have to get another fix to buy them. Now if memberships and  automatic shipments cramp your style, well then stitch fix lets you just set this manual in your profile dashboard, and you don’t have to worry about it and just order a fix whenever you want.
